For Sale: 2012 Kia Picanto – Reliable, Economical, Ideal First Car. This 2012 Kia Picanto is perfect for new drivers or as a cheap runaround. Mileage: Approx. 87,000 miles (I do less than ~2,000/year, check previous MOTs). 4 owners from new, and for the last 10 years, owned by 2 ladies from the same family including me. It’s had regular oil changes and servicing done by a local mechanic. The Running Costs are extremely cheap, it is Fuel-efficient, cheap to insure, free road tax, yes free!, ULEZ-compliant Euro 5 petrol. It’s reliable and always starts and runs well, it’s an ideal car for short trips and daily use. The paintwork is not great, it has fine scratches (likely buffable with a good machine polish). The rear passenger door has a deeper scratch/dent as shown in the pictures. The rear bumper has peeling lacquer and some loose clips (you can buy a bumper for 30 quid on ebay. Despite these cosmetic imperfections from 10 years of careful learner-driver use, the car is mechanically sound and drives reliably.I’m selling because it’s no longer needed for daily school runs, as the kids’ new school is just 500 yards away.
